PASSENGER RIGHTS
According to countries and airlines, passengers can benefit, among other rights: the right to get objective and correct information from your travel agent, in particular regarding the identity of the effective carrier (in opposite to carrier indicated on the ticket), flight changes, layovers and transfers between airport during your travel ; the right to be indemnified in case of flight overbooking and to be equitably treated ; the right to benefit from a medical coverage and to be indemnified in case an accident, no matter the place. You can get more information from your travel agent when booking your flight.
CHILDREN
Contact your airline to get information regarding rate reduction applied to children, the fare of unaccompanied children and any other modality.
Unaccompanied minor between 4 and 12: They are under the legal responsibility of the airline. Contact the airline he/she will be traveling with to get a UM pocket that will include his ticket, his identification papers, his parental authorization, as well as an identification form where are mentioned the name and address of the person who will receive the minor at the arrival airport and whose presence is mandatory.
Unaccompanied children on an international flight: Provide your child with an authorization to leave the country and his own valid passport. A child that is less than 15 accompanied by his parents may travel on either his father’s or mother’s passport. An individual passport is mandatory from 15 years old.
TRAVEL CLOTHING
Favor comfortable and metal free clothes to avoid making the walk-through scanner ring (belts, shoes, glasses, watch, etc.). Make sure to get at your arrival to your destination clothes that are appropriate to the climate.
